Degree Collection
A romantic, passionate and dreamy project inspired by organic florals and impressionist oil paintings. Creating delicate and feminine lingerie and nightwear for a Spring/Summer Collection. An innocent and playful collection of embroideries that express the mood of feminine beauty.
YOUTHFUL REBELLION
A black and white collection capturing urban youth. Reconstructing and manipulating recycled denim to create a unisex collection for todays youth culture whilst keeping a rebellious theme. Exploring expressive brush marks and bold stripes across a range of textile techniques.
PLASTIC OCEAN
A visually exciting project highlighting the amount of plastic waste in our oceans. Within my textiles, I have incorporated unwanted plastic materials through knit, silicone, and multi media techniques. Creating textured and colourful textiles that feel contemporary and artistic.
ROMO
Live Project
Working with an interiors company to produce a collection that could be used in the interiors industry. ROMO's donations to charitable organisations is what inspired this project, the natural and exotic roots inspired my sketchbook drawings and embroideries.
GLOVERS COMPETITION
An Inhospitable World
A competition entry that imagined the earth in the year 2220, using embroidery techniques (including digital embroidery, Irish machine, domestic machine and hand embroidery) as well as neon and glow in the dark threads to capture the theme of this futuristic world.
